NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
RAVENNA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

TO: CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RAVENNA, MUSKEGON COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 20th day of May 2024, the Ravenna Township Planning Commission will hold public hearings at the Ravenna Township Office, 3770 Blackmer Rd, Ravenna, MI 49451, at 7:00 p.m., local time, to hear and consider the following:
Hearing 1
The hearing is to consider a request from Timothy Wilbur for a Special Land Use to construct a Single-Family Dwelling in the A-1 Prime Agricultural District. The property is located on the south side of Hile Road east of Ensley Road, parcel 61-17-018-300-0005-00
Hearing 2
The hearing is to consider a text amendment proposes to revise Section 11.3 – Special Land Uses and add Section 13.4.QQ – Single Family Dwellings as a Special Land Use in Industrial to the Ravenna Township Zoning Ordinance to allow existing single family dwellings in the Industrial district to be permitted as special land uses.
*** Any person interested in these matters may appear at such hearing in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments concerning these matters may be filed prior to the hearing with the Ravenna Township Clerk, Ravenna Township Offices, 3770 Blackmer Road Ravenna, MI 49451 (Phone 231-853-6205), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 am - 2:00pm, Friday 9:00 am - 12:00pm
The Special Land Use Application may be examined by any person at the Ravenna Township Office, 3770 Blackmer Rd, Ravenna, MI 49451 (231-853-6205), between 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The Township will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services at this hearing, such as signers for hearing impaired persons and audio tapes of printed materials for visually impaired persons, upon receipt of seven days prior notice. Disabled persons requiring such auxiliary aids or services should so notify the Township by contacting the Township Clerk.
