The Ravenna Township Cemetery sustained heavy damage during the storm of 12 April 2014. Many trees fell, headstones were damaged, fencing was flattened and electrical lines were torn down. There are many trees that will also have to be removed, that are still standing, but are unsafe because of the amount of structural damage they sustained. Larry Darcy, cemetery custodian, points out an undamaged headstone that a tree fell all around but not on to the old headstone .
