RAVENNA TOWNSHIP
SPECIAL MEETING
September 19, 2014
A Special Meeting of the Ravenna Township Board was held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 8:03 a.m. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Ken Punter. Members present were: Punter, Clerk Penny Sherman, Treasurer Sonja Patterson, and Trustees Elmer Hoyle and Bruce Yonker. The purpose of this Special Meeting was to discuss seal coating the front parking lot, purchasing a snowblower and purchasing a laptop. Punter presented bids to have the front parking lot seal coated and marked. Two bids were presented-one from Bob’s Asphalt for $675.00 and Harold Osborne for $978.00. Motion by Punter, support by Patterson to hire Bob’s Asphalt to clean, seal coat and mark the front parking lot for $675.00. Motion carried. Punter suggested and the board agreed to look at getting prices on a new snowblower which can be used at the Township Hall, Library and Fire Station. Snow plowing was also discussed. The Township will begin getting bids for plowing this winter. A laptop needs to be purchased for the Zoning Administrator, and a price will be presented at our next meeting.
