BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING MINUTES

June 14, 2017

The Budget Workshop Meeting of the Ravenna Township Board was held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 5:10 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Elmer Hoyle. Members present were: Punter; Sonja Patterson, Treasurer; Penny Sherman, Clerk; Elmer Hoyle, Trustee; Bruce Yonker, Trustee; Greg Crowley, Fire Chief and one resident. Pledge to the Flag was led by Gregory Crowley, Prayer was led by Elmer Hoyle.

Motion by Yonker, support by Bonthuis to approve the Agenda. Motion carried.

Patterson presented the following amendment to the 2016-2017 current Ravenna Township Fire Budget: Contracted Services $85.94 from Wages. Motion by Sherman, support by Yonker to approve amendment to the 2016-2017 Ravenna Township Fire Budget. Motion carried.

Sherman presented the following amendments to the 2016-2017 current Ravenna Township General Fund Budget:

Legislative-Legal Fees $3,443.24; Executive-Assessor Office Supplies $81.60; Financial Administration-Clerk’s Transportation $172.76; Roads/Bridges/ Drains – Drains $2,261.83; Fire Protection-2 Mill Voted $11,410.01 and Township Hall-Operating Supplies $1,743.86. All funds for the amendments are available from the Township Fund Balance. Motion by Bonthuis, support by Yonker to approve amendments for the 2016-2017 Ravenna Township General Fund Budget. Motion carried.

Fire Budget expected revenues for 2017-2018 are $208,041.86 and expected expenditures for 2017-2018 are $208,041.86.

Township Budget expected revenues for 2017-2018 are $552,280.00 and expected expenditures for 2017-2018 are $552,280.00
