RAVENNA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES
August 17, 2015
The August meeting of the Ravenna Township Planning Commission was called to order on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 7:00 by Chairman Jack Link. Members present were: Jack Link, Roger Peacock, Mike Gillard and Bruce Yonker; Anne Lewis, Zoning Administrator, Penny Sherman, Recording Secretary and one resident. Stan Wagner was absent. Pledge to the flag was led by Chairman Link.
Motion by Peacock, support by Gillard to approve the minutes from the June 15, 2015 meeting with the correction of stating that the next Planning Commission Meeting will be held Monday, August 17th instead of July 20th . Motion carried.
Agenda was approved as presented.
Citizen’s Comments: Resident stated that he had spoken to the former ZA Tony Zaidel regarding the noise and odor coming from MTI and it still remains to be a problem. He has called the DEQ on this matter and they will be getting back to him. Resident questioned rather the right permits have been applied for regarding a property on S. Adams Rd. Zoning Administrator Lewis will look into this matter.
New Business: None.
Old Business: Changes and updates were discussed regarding the Master Plan. The Master Plan updates have almost been completed and will be ready to be submitted to the Township Board soon.
Citizen’s Comments: Drains were discussed.
Next Planning Commission Meeting will be Monday, September 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
Correspondence was read from Robert Toland, a consultant to Planning and Zoning Boards.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
