RAVENNA TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING
MINUTES
JUNE 20, 2016
A meeting of the Ravenna Township Planning Commission was called to order on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 7:00 by Chairman Jack Link. Members present were: Link, Roger Peacock, Mike Gillard, Stanley Wagner, Bruce Yonker, Zoning Administrator Anne Lewis, Recording Secretary Penny Sherman and 3 residents. Pledge to the flag was led by Mike Gillard.
Motion by Link to open the Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m., support by Peacock. Motion carried.
Purpose of the Public Hearing was to present the Ravenna Township Revised/Updated Master Plan. The Planning Commission has been working on updating the Master Plan for the past 2 years. The original Master Plan was created in 1976 and the Planning Commission stated that the original Master Plan was very well written.
Public Hearing closed at 7:08 p.m.
Chairman Link reopened the meeting – Motion by Wagner, support by Peacock to approve minutes from the meeting held May 16, 2016. Motion carried.
The Agenda was approved as presented.
New Business: Questions were asked regarding a Private Road in Ravenna Township and how many out buildings are allowed in the Residential District.
Unfinished Business: Master Plan: Motion by Gillard support by Peacock to approve the Ravenna Township Revised/Updated Master Plan. The Plan will now proceed to the Ravenna Township Board for approval.
Public Comments: None.
Next meeting will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Motion by Wagner, support by Yonker to adjourn. Motion carried.
