A Public Hearing and Meeting of the Ravenna Township Planning Commission was called to order on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 7:00 by Chairman Jack Link.  Members present were:  Jack Link, Roger Peacock, Stanley Wagner and Bruce Yonker.  Also present were Zoning Administrator Anne Lewis, and 5 guests. Mike Gillard was absent.  Pledge to the flag was said.

Motion by Peacock to open the Public Hearing at 7:05 p.m., support by Wagner. Motion carried.

Purpose of the Public Hearing was to present and discuss a Special Use Applications that has been received by Chad and Tracy Busman.

Chad and Tracy Busman would like to build a home on a 28.80 acre parcel in an A-1 zoned district. The property is owned by Chad Busman and is located on Wilson Street, Coopersville, MI 49404.

Discussion was held regarding how much land is required to build and if restrictions will be on this land.

There were no citizen’s comments.

Public Hearing closed at 7:21 p.m.

Chairman Link reopened the meeting.

Motion by Wagner, support by Peacock to approve the minutes from the Public Hearing and Meeting that was held on April 17, 2017. Motion carried.

Agenda was approved as presented.

Public Comment:  None.

New Business: Special Use application from Chad and Tracy Busman was discussed. Motion by Peacock, support by Wagner  to approve the Special Use Application by Chad and Tracy Busman to build a  home on a 28.80 acre parcel in an A-1 zoned district.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business: Alternative Energy Ordinances were discussed. Planning Commission would like to meet with the Township Attorney to get more verifications on these Ordinances.
