RAVENNA TOWNSHIP
PUBLIC HEARING
AND
SPECIAL MEETING
June 25, 2015
A Public Hearing and Special Meeting of the Ravenna Township Board was held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Ken Punter. Members present were: Punter; Sonja Patterson, Treasurer; Penny Sherman, Clerk; and Elmer Hoyle, Trustee. Trustee Bruce Yonker was absent. Pledge was led by Supervisor Punter. Prayer was led by Trustee Hoyle. Motion by Punter to open Public Hearing at 6:05 p.m. Sherman presented the 2015-2016 Township Budget showing expected revenues of $514,900.00 and expected expenditures of $514,900.00. Patterson presented the 2015-2016 Fire Department Budget showing expected revenues of $181,237.70 and expected expenditures of $181,237.70. Motion by Hoyle to close Public Hearing. Public Hearing closed at 6:10 p.m.
Special Meeting opened.
Motion by Hoyle, support by Patterson to approve the June 11, 2015 Township Board Meeting minutes. Motion carried.
Agenda is approved as presented.

Resolution 15-02 a Resolution Approving Annual Township Budget and Determining Property Tax Rates for Support of Budget was presented. Motion by Patterson, support by Hoyle to approve Resolution 15-02. Roll call vote taken: Hoyle-Aye, Patterson-Aye, Sherman-Aye, Punter-Aye. Motion carried. Absent: Yonker. Motion by Patterson, support by Punter to approve the 2015-2016 Township Board Budget. Roll call vote taken: Hoyle-Aye, Patterson-Aye, Sherman-Aye, Punter-Aye. Motion carried. Absent: Yonker. Motion by Hoyle, support by Punter to approve the 2015-2016 Fire Department Budget. Roll call vote taken: Hoyle-Aye, Patterson-Aye, Sherman-Aye, Punter-Aye. Motion carried. Absent: Yonker
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Procedures and Guidelines were discussed. Motion by Sherman, support by Hoyle to approve Resolution 15-03 a Resolution adopting Freedom of Information Act Procedures and Guidelines and Summary Thereof. Roll call vote taken: Hoyle-Aye, Sherman-Aye, Patterson-Aye, Punter-Aye. Motion carried. Absent: Yonker.
Zoning Administrator position was discussed. Currently 3 people have applied for the position. Deadline for all applicants is July 1, 2015. Interviews will be conducted on Monday, July 6, 2015.
